The first thought about having a robot is how it works and what are the mechanisms. You probably want to know how you can repair it and know who what the guarantee is but more importantly you want to know ‘what does it do’.
The household Trash Robot is going to require a hefty manual and perhaps it might be an idea to release a book called ‘The Dummies Guide to Trash Robot’. The marketing synergy is infinite but the most important part of any product is explaining the principles of what is does and what future feature benefits you may expect from such a thing. It should be such and such and expain this and that and have a clear message, perhaps come in fancy packaging, (obviously biodegradable packaging) and have a nice motif. This is called branding.
When you are making your recycled robots and posting them on Youtube be sure to give your robot a motiff, you can add this image to the top of video by using suitable software, on the Apple a good video maker is called Screenflow.
Tommorows post will be about the right way to communicate with robots to ensure you recycle properly.
