Paradise Towers
Aug 18th, 2010 by Trash Robot
By taking the robot principle from Doctor Who we find the idea of Trash Robot in the kitchen doing the housework. Paradise Towers in Doctor Who was a luxurious 22nd century high rise apartment building that fell into disrepair and chaos. In the episode The Doctor challenges the paradigm of the caretaker, in-fact the program makers the group of people known as the caretakers a formidable force that are the bad guy’s in the show. However many of the inhabitants of planet are enemies of the Doctor. The Robots come from the cleaners, the cleaners are the final force that challenge the doctor. THe Robots are based in the kitchen and help the cleaners to do their jobs.
In this day and age having a robot around the home can for some be a Frankenstein discussion, and in the USA there are other interpretations of having Robots in the home that have accessories predicted that will far supersede what I propose here, although they have also a targeted customers. Housewife’s, but the robot I think of is for industrial use down the recycling centre, and the other idea is the Robot is androgynous and will be child friendly something guys can use and women alike. By adding any other synergy although understandable for companionship is not what a trash robot is about. I hope the robot to be practical as well as human like but not o much as you will stay at home, not go out and speak with other people, but will free up time, improve recycling and make the home a more hygienic and green recycle friendly tool.
